King platform storage bed – An easy to build your own simple platform framework. This model costs less and adds a simple clean lined feeling to the room where it is installed. If you want something more elaborate, you can use the platform model that the base and add messages, headers and other accents from there. Luckily for do-it-yourself enthusiasts, a sturdy full-size bed platform can be achieved even for novice woodworkers, and for a much lower cost than a platform-bought bed in the store. Also, no mattress is needed. Cut the wood by 2 by 12 inches on two sides of the 75-inch bed frame and five 54-inch lengths of the ends of the bed frame and mattress fixation system, or support frames. Cut the plywood into three 25-by-95-inch strips for the platform.
Support the side plates lengthwise on one side of 2 inches, 54 inches apart. Position two of the planks 54 inches between the side table ends, forming a rectangular frame with corners at right angles. Make four pilot countersunk holes, sized to fit the wood screws, through the ends of the side planks on it from the ends of the 54-inch footboard planks then fasten with wood screws. Insert the remaining 54-inch tables spaced evenly between the ends of the king platform storage bed frame, parallel to the ends of the bed. Secure these boards instead of the same way you did the ends of the bed.

Fill the screw holes with wood putty and let dry. Sand the frame of the king platform storage bed, as well as the pieces of the plywood pallet then paints or varnish as desired and let it dry. Place the three plywood planks lengthwise on the bed frame, centered. There will be 10 inches on all sides. Secure the platform to the structure with wood screws every 10 inches around the perimeter of the bed and in the mattress fixation systems as well. Retouch the screw holes with putty and paint.
